guidelines for modification and use

General Use

You are allowed to use our bar for commercial and private websites of almost any nature. You are not allowed to use the bar on websites that contain child pornography, violent content, racial intolerance, or advocacy against any individual, group, or organization.

License

Firefox Bar is licensed under a GNU GPL license.

Modification

You are free to replace the download link with one of the following:

• http://www.mozilla.com/
• http://www.mozilla.com/firefox
• http://www.download.com/mozilla-firefox/
• http://www.spreadfirefox.com/ (with your affiliate URL)

You are also allowed, but discouraged, to remove our link in the bar. It is the only way we can advertise our site, so we appreciate its presence. You may also make minor changes to appearance (such as removing the shadow). You are free to modify the code beyond changes mentioned above, but you are asked to remove our link from the bar. If you would still like to link to us, please do so outside the bar.

Redistribution

We ask that the unmodfied bar is not offered for download offsite. If you do host it, we ask that you inform your viewers that your version may be outdated and is not supported by us. If you are hosting a modified version, please give us credit of some form (and tell us about it, )
